Our Commitment to Safety

On Yee, creating an online community that is safe, secure, and fun is our top priority. We utilize industry-leading automated and manual moderation review tools, have teams specifically dedicated to safety and moderation, and have launched and implemented industry-first features in the app that are solely dedicated to user safety.

Zero Tolerance Policy

We have a zero tolerance policy for offensive content and abusive behavior. Our community guidelines page outlines what content is deemed inappropriate, and includes step-by-step instructions for how to report or block someone one Yee.

AI + Machine Learning

We use state-of-the-art AI and machine learning technologies to identify and ban users and content that violate our policies or engage in inappropriate behavior on Yee.

24/7 Human Moderation

A team of human moderators work 24/7 to review all reports and blocks submitted by users. Any users that have acted inappropriately, and/or violated our Community Guidelines, are instantly banned from the app.

Safety Features

Features that are solely dedicated to user safety include a 2-step report system and a 3-step verification process. Our community guidelines page outlines what they are and how they work.

Full Screen Safety Reminders

We utilize smart pop ups to remind users of our safety policies, and anytime our policies change.

Safety Tips

Protect your personal information

Be smart about what you share with others. Whether it’s in your direct messages with others, a line in your bio, it’s best - and safest - to keep it low key.

Never transfer money to anyone

Even after trust is established, don’t send or accept money using any type of financial app or mobile banking system. This includes but is not limited to Cash App, Venmo, and Western Union. Keep your financial information to yourself.

Keep the convo on Yee

Keep conversations on Yee when you’re getting to know someone. Say no to users who immediately ask you for your phone number or try to move the conversation to text or other messaging apps.

Use our Block and Report feature

Report all suspicious and offensive behavior using our 2-step report system. If you think someone has crossed the line and violated our community guidelines, we want to know about it.
